HE IS DEAD.

Image
HE IS DEAD I met this handsome tall guy when I was in Ss1. He just joined us in art class then. We got to know each other and I discovered that he was not only brilliant but full of life. Not too long another guy came, added with the first new guy, we formed a group. We read, played, and even caused troubles together. Thanks to our closeness, our classmates tagged us "Proud". Being one of the rules guiding me that you cannot be my friend without me knowing your family, I made sure I met his family. I must confess, they were awesome set of people, his family became my family and mine also became his. During the time he started attending our school, Boko -haram was rampant in the north then and since he was also from Kano, we nick-named him *Boko-Haram*. At first, he didn't like it but as time went by, he got used to it. He was sick, he was fighting a battle (not spiritual battle), but later overcame it and we passed out of secondary school. As fate would hav...
JUNE 12:  M.K.O ABIOLA, AN ACCIDENT OF HISTORY, NOT A HERO OF DEMOCRACY     Many people have been praising and regarding Bashorun M.K.O. Abiola the acclaimed winner of the june 12, 1993 presidential election as the hero of Nigeria democracy, this is a fallacy. Abiola is not an hero of democracy, he is just an accident of history who was lucky to have been  voted by the majority at the poll.     Anybody who is a student of history will know that Abiola was over-ambitious and desperate to hold office, the real heroes of democracy are the people  who faced the military and wielded guns in their hands, most of them lost their lives, different body parts and even their properties and families in this fight.     Let it be know that is this same Abiola that worked against Chief Obafemi Awolowo, with the help of the "ebora owu" who was the then military head of state by using his wealthy influence to make sure shehu SHAGARI won the 1979 general...

BACK THEN... BY JOJUADE.

BACK THEN, We used to feel each others heartbeat, You used to face challenges with me, You used to chastise me when ever I did wrong things, You used to be my defender, You used to keep me warm from cold, But now, you refused to acknowledge my existence.   'KUNLE_JONISE        JOJUADE
